Dinner Party- A Photo Story By Willow and Blossom

McKenna, Saila, Taryn, and I were at the Cheesecake Factory. It was the evening right after school had ended and we were celebrating.
"So," I asked, "do you have any plans for the summer?"

"Other than our trip to Canada?" asked Taryn.
"Yes." I giggled, "we all know about that!"
"Well," said McKenna "I'm planning to compete in the regional competition in New York."
"That sounds intense!" said Saila.
"Yeah!" I replied.
"Hey!" said Saila, "is that Addy and Cecile?"
"I think so." said McKenna.
Addy and Cecile are cousins, but I don't always see Cecile so it's always cool when she comes over. Cecile actually used to live in New Orleans with me when we were younger, but we didn't actually know each other.
"Hi!" They said in unison before sitting down with us. The next people to arrive were Lainie and Kit, who are siblings.
Lainie's in my grade, but Kit is a year younger. That makes her the same age as Addy, McKenna, Cecile, and everyone else at the party. They joined our table too and lots of great conversations started.

I think that our annual after school dinner is one of my favorite things we do in the club. It's a great way to see what you've accomplished in the year and get excited about summer break!
Soon the waitress arrived with rolls and menus.
"Enjoy!" she said.
"Wow!" said Lainie. "I really love all of your outfits. They look so great!"
I was really flattered. Lainie's fashion sense is nearly impeccable!
"Thanks!" said Saila. "Lainie, do you have any plans for this summer?"
"Well," Lainie replied "I am going to Pine Valley Lake Camp!"

"Really!" said McKenna. "So am I! Maybe we're going the same week."
"That would be really cool." said Lainie.
"Guys," said Cecile "maybe we should take a look at our menus."
"Good idea!" exclaimed Taryn. "I am so excited about the food tonight!"
We all looked at our Menus and tried to decide what to order. I settled on chicken with gravy.
While we waited, we ate some of the delicious rolls the waitress brought.
Eventually, the waitress arrived with our drinks. Cecile, Kit, and I had all ordered tea.
We also ordered some appetizers, mostly because Taryn wanted them.

We got an asparagus salad and cheese sampler. They were both delicious.
Later, the waitress took our food orders. There were a lot though, and she looked pretty confused.
She did a good job collecting the menus though...
The salad was AMAZING!
Soon the waitress returned with our food. Kit ordered a sandwich and tomato soup combo. Lainie ordered a sandwich and potato salad.

Saila ordered hot dogs and french fries.
McKenna ordered a burger with fruit kabobs and I ordered chicken and cheese. Taryn ordered a hot dog and corn. Addy ordered shrimp and veggies. Cecile ordered lobster...

...But the waitress brought out a whole roasted chicken!
Cecile was confused, and actually pretty upset.
"How could you mess up my order?" she cried.
The waitress offered to replace her order for free, and Cecile quickly consented.
I really enjoyed my cheese. And knocked over a cup. Luckily it was empty!
When we were done eating, we ordered a cheesecake cupcake platter for dessert.
We told Taryn she could share with us but she didn't want to.
She ordered a GINORMOUS sampler platter. I have to say, I was pretty surprised at that. Taryn had eaten a lot that evening and she doesn't usually order very much at all.

The waitress FINALLY showed up with Cecile's lobster platter, but she was already full of dessert.
Taryn reached for the last cupcake on the platter.
"Umm, don't you think you have enough food?" I asked.
"Well," said Taryn "I'm reeeeaaaaallllyy hungry. This past week I was on a hike with a granola bar only diet. That's why I wasn't at school."
That sort of explained things...
The waitress returned with our bill. $450!!! It was a good thing we were splitting the cost. And that Taryn ordered most of the expensive stuff. I hope her mom won't get upset.
Somehow, she convinced the waitress to box the chicken for her too!
After dinner, we took our end of the year photo and did our tradition of saying our favorite thing that happened in the school year!
My favorite thing was drama class.
Addy liked science and British History.
Kit liked English.
Lainie liked art.
Saila liked math class, especially the money project.
McKenna liked her PE class. Most specifically gymnastics week.
Cecile was a fan of choir.
And I couldn't really tell what Taryn said. She had too much food in her mouth. Oh well!

Until next time,

Etsy Order & Sewing Spree Part 3

Hello everyone! Here is the last part of our sewing spree post. The first and seconds parts are the last two posts, so just scroll down.

This last little project really didn't have all that much to do with sewing, it was more of a crafting thing. As I mentioned before, there was a second piece to our etsy order. Camp Tees!
$4 Per T-shirt, pretty much.
We used this iron-on paper that we got at Joann's, it was super easy to use and the effect was perfect. It was also really inexpensive when compared to getting screen printing done.
You can see the outline of the piece we ironed on.
It looks really good on the t-shirt, the only drawback being the square of white that gets ironed on, and makes the shirt a bit stiff. Other than that, it looks great! Another detail is that the colors are slightly lighter on the shirt then they are on the printables I printed on regular paper. Still, I am confident that the shirts will do their job, and extremely well for the cost of making them.
Friends!

Close up of the shirt detail.

Don't fall asleep!

We are super-dee-duper excited!
We are so excited about these super cute t-shirts! Here is the link to the review video on our Youtube, where you can see these shirts in action:
