Little Red Bike~ A Photoshoot

Hello everyone! Sorry for not posting in so long. I always have all these crazy plans for summer that are well... less than realistic. Most of them involve dolls. Anyway, I was finally able to get out yesterday and take some pictures.

I'm trying to hone my photography skills for the AP Art class I am taking this coming year, and dolls are kind of my test subjects... (that sounds evil, not sure how to recover)
Anyways, dolls are the best models because they don't move and they do exactly what you tell them to! So here are some of my pictures...

I love how her bloomers peek out in this one!

The light was great that day! I love the way the bokeh burst in the background of some of the close ups!
Here is the video I made with more pictures in it for youtube! It is to Mindy Gledhill's song "Little Red Bike"

Enjoy!

The BIG Picture Magazine

Hello everyone, it's Willow.
We have a bimonthly publication called "The BIG Picture" that we send to club members via email, but I thought it would be fun to upload it here on our blog for everyone to enjoy! Just click the first picture to start the magazine.

Credits go to the DollMag, for letting everyone know about the great resources they use, and Basilmentos, for first using the 'click to start' idea on her blog. You guys are great inspiration!

In the treehouse...

Hello everyone,
It's Marie-Grace

This past Wednesday, our teachers gave us a lot of homework so Addy, McKenna, and I met in the tree house to study. The tree house is a really special place for us because it is where Pine Valley Girls Club began.
So anyway, we were all studying. Addy was working on a book report, I was busy with my math homework and McKenna was kind of just chilling. I figured she should do her homework but she said not until I stopped looking at American Girl Outfitter's website. What was she talking about?
Addy sided with McKenna for some reason, and I was forced to plead my innocence.
I discreetly closed the windows on my computer.
Luckily for me, McKenna had some important news for us. She said that she had a super-cool poster for the Tree House.
"It's from SparkFireProductions!" she said, "Look, I have it here in my backpack..."
McKenna hung up the poster on the wall.
Unfortunately, to get there she had to walk through our piles of homework.

Well that's awkward.
It was worth the slight awkwardness though.
Masterpiece.
